Now more than ever we, as a society, recognize that much like plants and other organic, living things, our minds require consistent care and nurturing. Like plants, we show signs of distress due to changes in environment, unmet needs or trauma. While plants may outwardly show distress with shriveled leaves, human signs of distress often start internally. They affect our thought process, level of functioning and quality of life.

However, comparable to plants, humans show a great propensity towards resilience. It is shown that with a little guidance and care we can learn to adapt and even thrive in our environment. This is how I help.

I believe that everyone has the tools needed to grow. Sometimes we just need a safe space to explore how to effectively identify and utilize them. I work from an empowerment-based standpoint; simply meaning I follow your lead and your pace.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P). I have always been passionate about art and enjoy finding ways to bring creativity into sessions. I have a strong background working with people who have experienced sexual assault and domestic violence in a not-for-profit setting. I am also well practiced in anxiety and depression concerns, attachment, identity, self-esteem, grief, and loss. I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults.

I look forward to collaborating with you and helping you grow.
