Our childhoods, our home lives, and our past experiences play a huge part in shaping who we are today. Sometimes in life, we’re faced with challenges that arise from those past experiences and we haven’t been given the tools to work through them. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you feel safe and seen, one where you are free to be who you are. My focus is on building a therapeutic relationship that will give you that freedom to understand yourself and to live meaningfully.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic. I take influence from psychodynamic, Adlerian, EFT, ACT, multicultural, and feminist theories. At the same time, I’m continuously strengthening my understanding of various theoretical frameworks to better support the diverse needs of my future clients. I am committed to creating an environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. I am also very passionate about making sure that I am culturally sensitive so that I can support you in the best way possible throughout this journey.
It can be challenging to reach out, and it takes strength to do so! Whether you are going through a difficult life transition, are struggling with finding your identity, are looking for tools to work through past traumas, or have been struggling with mental health for a while, I look forward to supporting you in your healing journey.
Seeking a therapist who truly understands your experience? I provide affirming and knowledgeable support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Together, we can navigate identity, coming out, relationships, and the unique stressors you may face in a safe and validating space.
Feeling overwhelmed by worry, panic, or a constant sense of dread? You don’t have to manage anxiety alone. I provide supportive strategies and practical tools to help you calm your nervous system, quiet racing thoughts, and reclaim a sense of peace and control in your daily life.
When depression makes everything feel heavy, hopeless, or exhausting, reaching out is a brave first step. Together, we will work to rediscover motivation, challenge negative thought patterns, and help you reconnect with the joy and meaning in your life.
The wounds we carry from childhood or past experiences don’t have to define who we are today—but they often show up in ways we don’t expect. If you’re struggling with painful memories, recurring patterns, or feeling stuck in old reactions, I offer a safe, trauma-informed space to gently explore your history. Together, we will work to heal deep-rooted wounds, reframe the stories you’ve carried, and help you reclaim your present with compassion and strength.
Navigating the world as a person of color comes with unique challenges—microaggressions, systemic inequities, cultural expectations, and the emotional toll of living in a society that often doesn’t see you fully. I provide an affirming, culturally sensitive space where you can explore your racial identity, process experiences of discrimination or bias, and build resilience. Whether you’re wrestling with belonging, internalized messages, or intergenerational trauma, you don’t have to do it alone—your story matters here.
Family can be our deepest source of love and also our greatest source of pain. Whether you’re navigating conflict with parents, sibling rivalry, estrangement, caregiving stress, or the weight of unmet expectations, family dynamics can feel impossible to untangle. I offer a nonjudgmental space to help you understand these patterns, set healthy boundaries, and process the complex emotions that come with being part of a family. Together, we can work toward healing—whether that means repairing relationships or finding peace with the distance you need.
Does your mind race before social gatherings? Do you replay conversations obsessively or avoid speaking up out of fear of judgment? Social anxiety can make connection feel terrifying and leave you feeling isolated. I provide compassionate, practical support to help you understand the root of your fears, challenge self-critical thoughts, and build confidence in social settings—one small step at a time. You deserve to feel at ease with others and to experience the connection you long for.
Questions like “Who am I really?” or “Do I even know myself?” can feel unsettling and lonely. Whether you’re exploring your sense of self, grappling with cultural or societal expectations, or feeling disconnected from your own values and desires, I offer a curious and affirming space to explore these questions without judgment. Together, we’ll untangle the different parts of who you are, honor your complexities, and help you build a life that feels genuinely and authentically yours.
