Change can be an uncomfortable and unwelcome part of life. I offer a therapeutic environment that is warm and welcoming; a safe place to work through feelings and fears, as well as a place to cultivate and invite hope. Whether you are coping with the loss of a relationship, change in career, death of a loved one, or one of life’s countless other unexpected turns, I am here to work alongside you as you navigate your way to the other side.
I utilize a compassion-focused approach to helping clients realize their strengths, develop insight and understanding, and master the coping skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. With several years of experience as an art therapist and grief counselor with hospice, I know that loss, change, and life transitions can be the source of great suffering, and that they can also be the catalyst for incredible personal growth. Through the use of traditional talk therapy and the option of art therapy, I provide judgment-free support to children, teens, and adults with a client-centered approach that is based on their individual needs. If you are interested in beginning this journey, I would be honored to accompany you.
Navigating friendships and social dynamics can be a source of significant stress and loneliness. I provide a supportive space to explore relationship patterns, develop communication skills, and build the confidence needed to form healthier, more fulfilling connections with your peers.
The death of a loved one is a profound transition that can reshape your world. I offer compassionate support to help you navigate the complex emotions of grief, adjust to life after loss, and find a way to honor your loved one while moving forward on your own path.
Grief is not a linear process, and it can manifest after any type of loss—be it a person, a relationship, or a life you once knew. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to process your unique experience of loss at your own pace, helping you find meaning and a path toward healing.
Feeling overwhelmed by worry, panic, or a constant sense of dread? You don’t have to manage anxiety alone. I provide supportive strategies and practical tools to help you calm your nervous system, quiet racing thoughts, and reclaim a sense of peace and control in your daily life.
When depression makes everything feel heavy, hopeless, or exhausting, reaching out is a brave first step. Together, we will work to rediscover motivation, challenge negative thought patterns, and help you reconnect with the joy and meaning in your life.
